Suggestions in the margins is a special story on Roman suburbs. Uncountable landmarks of the the city of Rome narrate but half of the city. Suburban lanscapes represent a different "centre": that of imagination. The frail and incomplete space of suburban Rome become a white sheet. The suggestive power of these sites seem to be comparable with that of the most famous parts of the Eternal City, even if qualitively different.
In the images the spectator enjoys a safe position, the Roman countryside becomes the privilaged where to observe the architecture and to feed a row of questions about our times.
The antropic component that seems to be inexistant manifests itself discreet and silent, freezing and charging with intimate deepness the images of these sites "in the margins" in an untemporary undefinite fraction.
The static and the silence of the image takes the observer to a dreamlike space full of this precarious fragility and deep intimacy.
