The world on foot

Along the line of Le Breton's book of the same title, the photographic project is an eulogy to walking and tries to narrate the research ofa different personal dimension: a travel in the intimate relationship between men and cosmic laws which appear in nature.
Walking on foot- when understood outside salutistic and sport vision, that here doesnot find space-,is a gestiure of transgression and a powerful statement of individuality, and thereforer, of freedom.
It is a way of progressing in a transversal way in the frantic rythm of contemparary life: it allows to take the senses of body and soul. It helps to restore the inner hierarchical scale between man and the "greatness" of the world, for a moment free from material worries and ephemeral assessments.
Thie first stage among the Abruzzo mountains narrates the austere and placid spaces of Italy's most ancient mountains.
